7 Things I've Learned as a Mom

Here are 7 things I've learned in the past 7 months of being a mom:

1: A mothers love
Becoming a mother for the first time was the best experience ever but when I say I experienced a mothers love I mean the love from my mother. I finally realized the love she has for me because of the love I felt for my own daughter when she was born. My mom was there with me when labor began until a few weeks after birth helping me recoup and take care of the baby. I am forever grateful for my mothers love.

2: Grace
Undeserved kindness from my husband when I snapped at him from the lack of sleep when baby was first born. I am grateful for a husband who continues to show me grace at times when I fail to show him respect.

3. Sacrifice
Being a mom calls you to sacrifice your life for the sake of another. To put our wants and needs on hold to care for your child. Your food gets cold, your coffee turns lukewarm, your showers are always short, but it's all worth it when your baby looks into your eyes and smiles.

4. Using the bathroom is a family affair
My child has learned to crawl and so she finds me we'rever I may be including the bathroom. And she finds me every time I go in there. Well I guess I can't be mad that I'm wanted so much.

5. Time speeds up with children
Ok maybe it doesn't actually speed up but it sure does feel like it. Wasn't my baby just born? Has it really been 7 months since this blessing arrived? Every day I try to enjoy as much as I can of her because she continues to grow before my eyes.

6. Cherish alone time with your Husband
After baby it's not so easy to have time alone with your spouse. You have to purposefully plan time to be alone with each other. So enjoy those times. Leave the dishes alone and just enjoy your man.

7. My need for Christ
Everyday when I lose my patience, when I'm quick to anger, when I don't practice self control I am reminded of my need for a savior. I am reminded that only Christ can save me from sin and death. I am reminded that I can go to Christ in my weakness as a mom and as wife and can be made whole in Him.

I am looking forward to learning and growing as a mom as my child learns and grows over the next year. Follow me as I seek to live a lifestyle of worship.
Grace and Peace

Artist Spotlight: Keith and Kristyn Getty

Keith and Krystin Getty are two of my all time favorite worshippers. They seek to honor Christ by being biblically accurate in their lyrics. With a unique Irish sound that's sure to get your feet taping and words that will get your heart and mind focused on Christ the Gettys will have you hooked the first time you hear them.

Check out their website to learn more about them and purchase their music.

My top favorite albums are

Joy: an Irish Christmas
Which I listen to all year long because it's just that good and.......

Live at the Gospel Coalition

The best part of this album is that you can hear the church singing with them. There's something about christians gathering from all over the world lifting high the name of Jesus.

I pray as you listen to the Gettys music you will draw closer to Christ and having a lifestyle of worship.

4 More Temptations of Screwtape

Im back again with 4 more Temptations of Screwtape.  If you are not familiar with C.S. Lewis and the Screwtape Letters click HERE  for the background and first 4 temptations of Screwtape.

1."We become easily distracted by the little things it's no longer the big sins that keep us from our prayers but little things. You no longer need a good book which he really likes to keep him from his prayers or his work or his sleep , a column of advertisements in yesterday's paper will do. you can make him waste his time not only in conversation he enjoys with people whom he likes but in conversations with those he cares nothing about on subjects that bore him. You can make him do nothing at all for long periods."

Yea you know you spend way to much time on facebook mindless scrolling .......and scrolling ........and scrolling. Or watching tv for hours on end, playing video games, and for the ladies all that time spent shopping. Its so easy to be distracted by the litttle things in our short attention span culture. Matt Chandler shares his thoughts on this topic in his blog: Inspirations
Before you set out to do something ask yourself will this deepen my affection for Christ? Will it impact me to grow in the Lord? If the answer is no, maybe limit how much time is spent there and move on to something eternally beneficial.

2."surely you know that if a man cant be cured of churchgoing, the next best thing is to send him all over the neighborhood looking for the church that 'suits' him until he becomes a taster or connoisseur of churches. "

In our day this would be called "church hopping". One way to keep a christian from growing spiritually is  to keep them away from community and accountability in a local church. If one likes to visit a  new church every other week they will never have the opportunity to be discipled and again be held accountable for their sins. A popluar excuse why one might church hop leads to the 3rd temptation............

3. Factions and Divisions in the church

Screwtape urges Wormwood to get the patient into a church of factions and divisions. You know the type of church were attendees make a big deal out of something so little just to cause a fight. The carpet color, the pastors tie, the last song of worship....etc. It's very easy to complain then to lay aside your self to serve and better one another. If we can learn from Paul about putting others interests above our own there would be less knit picking and divisions in our churches:

Philippians 2:1-8 ESV
So if there is any encouragement in Christ, any comfort from love, any participation in the Spirit, any affection and sympathy, complete my joy by being of the same mind, having the same love, being in full accord and of one mind. Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others. Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus, who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself, by taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross.

And Finally.........

4.Sexual feelings is the only prerequisite for marriage.

The lie that Marriage is only "binding as long as the feeling of being in love is experienced." God said marriage is a man and woman as one flesh, not " a happily married couple or a couple who married because they were in love". The Culture tell us that marriage is for love not the purpose of children and representing the gospel to the world (Christ and the church). The world throws the word "compatible" around to get you thinking that you should run from marriage until you find that perfect "compatible" mate.  That is the biggest lie out there. Christians should be seeking a husband or wife that will point them to the Cross. Someome that will love you unconditionally because Christ loved us unconditionally so much so that he died for us while we were still sinners (Rom 5:8).

I pray these few snippets from the Screwtape Letters encourages you to pick it up and read it. Its easier to be on guard against temptations when you know the enemy's game plan.

Ephesians 6:10-18 ESV
Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm. Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and, as shoes for your feet, having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace. In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one; and take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God, praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints.

4 Things to learn From George Whitefield

I just finished reading "A Sketch of the Life and Labors of George Whitefield" by John Charles Rye and I wanted to share a few points that really spoke to me. If you want to hear more about Whitefield I highly recommend watching this YouTube video:The Power of God in George Whitefields Life by Steve Lawson
Its a long one so if your short on time watch this Preview of Steve Lawsons message its only 12 min.

For Another great resource to learn more on Whitefield click Here

George Whitelfield was born in the 1700's and is a well know preacher of the Gospel. God used him to attract thousands of people to his open air sermons to be forever changed by Jesus Christ.

Now these are things about Whitefield  that I pray God puts in me and you when sharing the Gospel with the world.

1. "He was a simple, guileless man,who lived for one thing only, and that was to preach Christ. If he succeeded in doing that effectually,he cared for nothing ele. He did nothing to preserve the memory of his usefulness. He left his work with The Lord."

2. "He saw clearly that the most powerful weapon against such men (skeptics) is not metaphysical reasoning and critical disquisition; but preaching the whole gospel, living the whole gospel, and spreading the whole gospel."

3. "He did not wait for souls to come to him,  but he went after souls. He did not sit tamely by his fireside, mourning over the wickedness of the land. He went fourth to beard the devil in his high places. He attacked sin and wickedness face to face, and gave them no peace. He dived into holes and corners after sinners. He hunted ignorance and vice, wherever it could be found."

4.(Wesley on Whitefields theology)
"Give God all the glory of whatever is good in man: set Christ as high and man as low as possible, in the business of salvation. All merit is in the blood of Christ, and all power is from the spirit of Christ."

I pray that these 4 points about George Whitefield make us approach sharing the gospel as he did. Full on confrontation of sin and magnifying Christ above all else.

Thoughts on the Grammys

For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who by their unrighteousness suppress the truth.

For what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them.

For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made.

So they are without excuse. For although they knew God, they did not honor him as God or give thanks to him, but they became futile in their thinking, and their foolish hearts were darkened.

Claiming to be wise, they became fools, and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images resembling mortal man and birds and animals and creeping things.

Therefore God gave them up in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, to the dishonoring of their bodies among themselves, because they exchanged the truth about God for a lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever! Amen.

For this reason God gave them up to dishonorable passions. For their women exchanged natural relations for those that are contrary to nature; and the men likewise gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one another, men committing shameless acts with men and receiving in themselves the due penalty for their error.

And since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them up to a debased mind to do what ought not to be done.

They were filled with all manner of unrighteousness, evil, covetousness, malice. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, maliciousness. They are gossips, slanderers, haters of God, insolent, haughty, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents, foolish, faithless, heartless, ruthless.

Though they know God’s righteous decree that those who practice such things deserve to die, they not only do them but give approval to those who practice them.

 (Romans 1:18-32 ESV)

Well that about sums it up!

May The Lord return soon!

All Glory Goes to Thee

Me: the older brother Pharisee
Basking in my righteous deeds
Filthy rags but to blind to see

Obey the law as best as I could
Smile on my face like a good girl should

I was dead
Trying to save myself
Trying to earn my salvation
Exhausting myself

No amount of good could save this dying breed
Only through Christ we are saved and His perfect righteous deed

Christ in all His glory, all his splendor
Reached out to give his grace
Becoming like us, yet sinless
Took on the ultimate disgrace

The King of Glory
Perfect in all ways
Humbled himself to die
In the most excruciating way

Taking on my sin
To bring me life
What love is this?
No words to describe

There's nothing I can do to earn salvation
It is all because of Christ's sacrifice and the power of His resurrection

I repeat there's nothing you can do to earn salvation
It is the gift of God
So no one can boast,
He alone brings salvation

Repent and believe
We are all dead sinners in need of the King

His love is from everlasting to everlasting
His greatness we cannot comprehend
But if you are not found in Him
The wrath of God is your end

Thank you lord for Your grace
we see in a glass dimly
But one day
Face to face

Oh what a glorious day that will be
The day we see Christ
in all of His Glory

Will you be found in Him
Or found dead in your sin?

Get on your knees and pray that he will save you
No amount of your good works
Will ever be enough to raise you

We are but dust
help us to number our days
Eyes fixed on eternity
Extending your grace

Oh what love is this
The good Shepherd, laying his life for the sheep
In awe we stand
All Glory goes to Thee

Romans 3:10 ESV
as it is written: “None is righteous, no, not one;

Romans 3:23 ESV
for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

Romans 5:6-8 ESV
For while we were still weak, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly. For one will scarcely die for a righteous person—though perhaps for a good person one would dare even to die— but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

John 10:11 ESV
I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.

Romans 6:6-14 ESV
We know that our old self was crucified with him in order that the body of sin might be brought to nothing, so that we would no longer be enslaved to sin. For one who has died has been set free from sin. Now if we have died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him. We know that Christ, being raised from the dead, will never die again; death no longer has dominion over him. For the death he died he died to sin, once for all, but the life he lives he lives to God. So you also must consider yourselves dead to sin and alive to God in Christ Jesus. Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, to make you obey its passions. Do not present your members to sin as instruments for unrighteousness, but present yourselves to God as those who have been brought from death to life, and your members to God as instruments for righteousness. For sin will have no dominion over you, since you are not under law but under grace.

Romans 6:23 ESV
For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Top Four ways to Memorize Scripture

Memorizing Scripture helps us to focus on Christ and His word in times when we may not be able to have a bible open in front of us. When we fill our minds with His word we have something to combat sin with. Here are a few ways that I've used to memorize scripture.

I have stored up your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you. (Psalm 119:11 ESV)

1. Index Cards
You can hand write them yourself or purchase pre-made ones. When I hand make them I usually write three verses per card. I memorize better when I have the context of the Verse to read at once. If that doesn't work for you just put one scripture on each index card and when you memorize it move on to the next. You can put these on your car dash board, or keep them in your pocket/purse to pull out when you have a spare moment. I also love the fighter verse memorizing system. These pre-made cards are absolutely wonderful and go along with my next favorite way to memorize ....

2. The Fighter Verse Memory App

This app offers severely ways to memorize scripture either by full chapters or one verse at a time. It also has quizzes to test you and your progress.

Another thing you can do on this app or on any other app that makes memes is....

3. Create a Memory Verse background and lock screen on your phone, tablet,or computer. That way whenever you go to check your text messages or email you can do a quick recap of the verse.

And finally......

4. Post Scriptures by your Toilet

I mean think about it...were do you spend lots of time getting ready and handling your business?? The Bathroom of course. As you brush your teeth first thing in the morning and before you go to sleep, you can do a recap of the verses.
While your using the toilet instead of reading some pointless magazine you can memorize scripture.

“You shall therefore lay up these words of mine in your heart and in your soul, and you shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. You shall teach them to your children, talking of them when you are sitting in your house, and when you are walking by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise. You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates, (Deuteronomy 11:18-20 ESV)

Five Temptations of Screwtape

This may be one of my all time favorite books. I just love everything about it. It is entertaining and convicting all at the same time.  The main character is a senior devil named Screwtape. He is writing letters to his nephew (Wormwood) a junior devil giving him advice on how to tempt and lure the "patient" (who is a christian) away from following Christ and loving others. Here are five points from the book and my thoughts as I read through the "Screwtape Letters"

1."If once they (the christian) get through this initial dryness successfully, they become much less dependent on emotions and therefore much harder to tempt."

-oh how we thrive on emotions us humans. We tend to base our relationship with God on our "feelings" instead of what Gods word says. One day were up the next were down and if your not reformed you might even wonder if you lost your salvation and if you are reformed you may question if you were ever saved to begin with. We need to stop depending on emotions and -take every thought captive to obey Christ, (2 Corinthians 10:5 ESV)

2. "I have had patients of my own so well in hand that they could be turned at a moments notice from impassioned prayer for a wife's or son's soul to beating or insulting the real wife or son without a qualm."

-Yes the Pharisee In me would have done this exact thing years ago. One moment I'll be in 'deep' biblical studies or prayer then someone interrupts. My flesh gets mad, I become rude, and the title of hypocrite stands. It's so easy to say the same prayers and read portions of scripture just to be able to check it off our to-do-list, instead of Seeking a renewed mind(Romans 12:2 ESV) when your in the flesh the flesh will react.

3."at the very least they can be persuaded that the bodily position makes no difference to their prayers, for they constantly forget, that they are animals and whatever their bodies do affects their souls."

-ahh so many times I've gone into my comfy bed with the intention of praying to only fall asleep seconds later. Our body position really does affect our prayers. Whatever you have to do to help you stay focused on the task at hand (prayer) do it. Sit up, go in a another room, kneel, turn off all distractions. If we keep falling asleep when we go to pray than we'll never pray.

4." It is funny how mortals always picture us as putting things into their minds;in reality out best work is keeping things out ."

- when we don't study Gods word, when we don't constantly keep our minds filled with the gospel we will fall. If Gods word is kept out, sin will stay in.
I have stored up your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you. (Psalm 119:11 ESV)

5."As long as he (the patient) retains externally the habits of a christian he can still be made to think of himself as one who has adopted a few new friends and amusements but whose spiritual state is much the same as it was six weeks ago. And while he thinks that, we do not have to contend with the explicit repentance of a definite ,fully recognized sin, but only his vague, though uneasy, feeling that he hasn't been doing very well lately."

Many Christians are content with absolutely no spiritual change. Going to church weekly to socialize and appease their conscience, 'well I've made a few mistakes here and there this week but I went to church and made peace with it so I'm good', instead of as Lewis said "an explicit repentance of a FULLY recognized sin." We need to repent of our sins and not be ok with the "same spiritual state of six weeks ago."

I hope these few short snippets from the Screwtape Letters encourage you to go and read it. Stay tuned for some more points that really jump out at me as I finish reading it :)

5 Great Quotes

Remember,  it is not hasty reading, but serious meditating upon holy and heavenly truths, that make them prove sweet and profitable to the soul..... It is not he that reads the most,  that will prove the choicest, sweetest, wisest and strongest Christian.
Thomas Brooks

You may speak but a word to a child, and in that child there may be slumbering a noble heart which shall stir the Christian Church in years to come.
Charles Spurgeon

We are half hearted creatures, fooling about with drink and sex and ambition when infinite joy is offered us, like an ignorant child who wants to go on making mud pies in a slum because he cannot imagine what is meant by the offer of a holiday at sea. We are far too easily pleased.
C.S. Lewis

Today you will confess your sin or work to make your conscience okay with it.
Paul David Tripp

Love to Eat, Hate to Eat: ROUND 2

So if you have been following my blog (or talking to me in person) you know how much I love Elyse Fitzpatrick and that I'm reading her book "Love to Eat, Hate to Eat." I am just pass the half waypoint and I have been learning that what I focus on whether eating (or anything else of this world) can become an idol if not centered on Christ.I use to think about food all the time. While eating breakfast I'm thinking about whats for lunch, then dinner. If baby fell asleep after a crying spell I would think what can I eat to make me feel better. My life has always been lose weight, gain weight, lose weight, gain weight.  I was tired of just going through the motions of dieting to reach a certain size, to then hit the goal and go right back to the old eating habits. I needed a heart change, I needed Christ. Thats when I came across this book. God has used Elyse to show me my idolatry with food. The only way to replace my old thoughts were to replace them with new thoughts. As Thomas Chalmers says in the Explusive Power of a New Affection, "Misplaced Affections Need to be Replaced by the Far Greater Power of the Affection of the Gospel." I need to fill my mind daily with Gods word all day long, through the bible, sermons, worship songs, and Christian books. This is the only way I can stay focused on Christ and not let my mind wander aimlessly. While reading Love to Eat, Hate to Eat,  I realized that I have not been glorifying God in what I was eating and mainly how much I was eating. My lack of portion control shown that I lacked self discipline and indulged my flesh . My desire is to honor God in all that I do, not becoming dominated by anything in the flesh (1 cor 6:12 esv) slowly I can see Gods word changing me. Yesterday we celebrated my hubbies birthday and I knew we were going to have pizza and cake (my favs). I asked God to help me fight the temptation to over eat. It was the first time in my life I ate only one slice of pizza and a small piece of cake afterwards. And you know what I did not feel hungry later and I was able to praise God because of Christ's strength,my flesh did not dominate me during the celebration. A great resource that has helped me to make war with gluttony is this acrostic that Elyse outlines in the book (I will share below). She encourages anyone who wants to become disciplined in eating to memorize it and the verses that go along with each word. My goal is to have all of it memorized in the near future. As I go over the scriptures daily I find that not only do they speak to the sin of gluttony but all sin. So even if you don't struggle with food issues (over-eating, anorexia, buleima, etc) I strongly urge you to memorize the acronym and see how it relates to the sin you struggle with the most. Only a real heart change can conquer sin, a heart completely taken over by Jesus Christ and the power of the gospel. So if you see me in person ask me how I'm doing, keep me accountable on this journey of memorization and beating my body into submission. Check out the acronym below and I will leave a link to a downloadable/printable version you can save on your phone or put up in your house to remind you daily what Gods word says.

Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one receives the prize? So run that you may obtain it. Every athlete exercises self-control in all things. They do it to receive a perishable wreath, but we an imperishable. So I do not run aimlessly; I do not box as one beating the air. But I discipline my body and keep it under control, lest after preaching to others I myself should be disqualified. (1 Corinthians 9:24-27 ESV)

D-I-S-C-I-P-L-I-N-E-D E-ating

Doubt- Do I doubt for any reason that I can eat this food without sinning? He who doubts is condemned if he eats, because his eating is not from faith; and whatever is not from faith is sin (Romans 14:23)

Idolatry- Will eating this food demonstrate a heart of idolatry (pleasure/power)?You shall have no other gods before Me (Exodus 20:3)

Stumble- If I eat this food, will it cause some weaker Christian to stumble? It is good not to eat meat or to drink wine, or to do anything by which your brother stumbles (Romans 14:21)

Covet- Am I eating this food because I saw someone else with it and I’m coveting? You shall not covet… anything that belongs to your neighbor (Exodus 20:17)

Inroad- If I eat this food, will it create an inroad for sin in my life? (For example, can I take just one portion or will I binge on this food?)Put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh in regards to its lusts (Romans 13:14)

Praise- Can I eat this food with thanks and gratitude?Everything created by God is good, and nothing is to be rejected, if it is received with gratitude (1 Timothy 4:4)

Life- Would eating this food harm my life or health in any way?You shall not murder (Exodus 20:13)Illustrate- Am I modeling good eating habits for others?Show yourself an example of those who believe (1 Timothy 4:12)

No- Am I able to say no to this food, even if I know that I can eat it without sin?I buffet my body and make it my slave, lest possibly, after I have preached to others, I myself should be disqualified (1 Corinthians 9:27)

Emotions- Does the desire to eat this food flow out of any sinful emotion? If you do well, will not your countenance be lifted up? And if you do not do well, sin is crouching at the door; and its desire is for you, but you must master it (Genesis 4:7)

Distract- Will preparing or eating this food distract me from something more profitable?Martha, Martha, you are worried and bothered about so many things; but only a few are really necessary, really only one, for Mary has chosen the good part, which shall not be taken away from her (Luke 10:41-42)

Enslaved- Will eating this food bring me under any kind of bondage? All things are lawful for me, but not all things are profitable. All things are lawful for me, but I will not be mastered by anything (1 Corinthians 6:12)In my eating and drinking, am I glorifying God?

Postmodern Architecture quote by Ravi Zacharias

Just watched youtube video "The Inchorence of atheism" by Dr Ravi Zacharias and loved this quote:

I remember lecturing at Ohio State University, one of the largest universities in this country. I was minutes away from beginning my lecture, and my host was driving me past a new building called the Wexner Center for the Performing Arts.He said,
This is Americas first postmodern building.

I was startled for a moment and I said,
What is a postmodern building?

He said, Well, the architect said that he designed this building with no design in mind. When the architect was asked, Why? he said, If life itself is capricious, why should our buildings have any design and any meaning? So he has pillars that have no purpose. He has stairways that go nowhere. He has a senseless building built and somebody has paid for it.

I said, So his argument was that if life has no purpose and design, why should the building have any design?

He said, That is correct.

I said, Did he do the same with the foundation?

All of a sudden there was silence.

You see, you and I can fool with the infrastructure as much as we would like, but we dare not fool with the foundation because it will call our bluff in a hurry.

For the Mamas

Happy new year everyone

I just wanted to share two things with you all: one will benefit your physical body and the  other a sermon that will encourage you in your calling of motherhood.

I know as a mom its hard to find time to workout and its especially hard if you don't have a gym membership. Normally I go for walks, or jogs with my daughter in her stroller but lately I've been wanting to challenge myself more. So I searched the Internet and came across this website: www.hasfit.com They offer free workout videos and nutrition tips. I started doing the 20min warrior videos while my baby naps and let me tell you I feel the burn. Taking care of our physical bodies is just one way we can worship God and be healthy enough for whatever he calls us to do.

The second thing I wanted to share is the link to a John Piper sermon called "Honoring the Call of Motherhood"
Piper encourages the mom who wishes to honor God above all else.
He touches on three parts of the call of motherhood:
1. Marriage- husband and wife are a gospel reenactment of Christ and the church.
2. Motherhood- pouring into the next generation pointing them to a Christ exalting world view.
3. Home management- creating a simple and beautiful place, for the sake of family, community, church,  and nation. A place of refuge in the peace of Christ,  a place of launching righteousness and justice in the community.

These are a few notes from the sermon I took, so your just gonna have to watch the video to get the full context.
Be encouraged mom and emrace the calling of motherhood God has
For you.
